No. The app works from your existing online store, so products, prices and stock stay in step.
It depends on the features you need. After the free call you get a fixed price before any work starts. Apple and Google charge their own small fees to list an app (Apple €99 a year, Google a one-off fee of about €25), paid in your name so the app is yours. Looking after it afterwards, with updates and changes the app stores require, is a yearly plan.
Building it takes about 4 weeks once I have your logo and details. Apple and Google then review every new app before it goes live, and how long that takes varies.
